Notre Dame vs Clemson 2020

Notre Dame Football triumphed over No. 1 Clemson, 47-40, in a double-overtime nail-biter. The victory secured the Irish their ninth win over an AP No. 1 team in program history and ended Clemson’s 36-game regular-season winning streak. Kyren Williams had 140 yards on 23 carries with three touchdowns, while Ian Book made 22 completions on 39 attempts for 310 yards and one touchdown. The defense was a key player, too, holding the Tigers to their lowest rushing yards since 2009 and limiting Travis Etienne to his lowest yards per carry of his career. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was a standout, finishing the night with a team-high nine tackles and a fumble recovery touchdown.
